Blood Donation Team Assistant (Bank)

About the role

Join a flexible pool of casual workers who support blood collection teams on an as‑needed basis. You will work in a donor centre, providing a welcoming environment for volunteers after they have donated. No medical background is required – training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Cover short‑term gaps in the donor centre staffing schedule.
• Manage the after‑donation refreshments area and any other duties relevant to the specific centre.
• Work varied shifts, including weekdays, evenings, Sundays and bank holidays, within the 07:30‑21:30 window.
• Choose the days you are available to work, offering flexibility for both you and the service.

Required profile

• Experience dealing with the public.
• Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
