Blood Donation Team Assistant (Bank)

About the role
Join a flexible pool of casual workers who support blood collection teams on an as‑needed basis. You will work in a donor centre, providing a welcoming environment for volunteers after they have donated. No medical background is required – training will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Cover short‑term gaps in the donor centre staffing schedule.
- Manage the after‑donation refreshments area and any other duties relevant to the specific centre.
- Work varied shifts, including weekdays, evenings, Sundays and bank holidays, within the 07:30‑21:30 window.
- Choose the days you are available to work, offering flexibility for both you and the service.
Required profile
- Experience dealing with the public.
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
