About the role
We are seeking a hands‑on Brand Training Lead to build and scale the learning function for a fast‑growing quick‑service restaurant (QSR) brand across the UK. You will work directly on new store openings, coach store managers, and design repeatable training systems that support rapid expansion.
Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver the full New Store Opening (NSO) training programme for every new site, personally on‑site during opening weeks.
- Design and implement crew, Shift Leader, Assistant Store Manager and General Manager development pathways with clear milestones.
- Create and run a Certified In‑Store Trainer programme to accredit high‑potential crew for day‑to‑day onboarding.
- Blend digital learning modules with practical in‑store facilitation to ensure consistent standards.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in L&D, brand training or training management within QSR, fast‑casual or multi‑site hospitality.
- Proven experience delivering NSO programmes on the ground.
- Ability to design training content from scratch – workbooks, digital modules, assessments and facilitation guides.
- Strong commercial mindset, self‑directed and able to manage workload independently.
Required skills
What we offer
- Salary £50,000 – £62,000 per year, plus performance bonus linked to training KPIs and opening targets.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and mileage reimbursement.
- Clear progression path to Head of Training and Director of L&D as the business scales.
