About the role
Our client, a market‑leading professional and financial services provider, is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing. This hybrid role is based in London and involves building relationships with innovative SME and corporate clients across sectors such as manufacturing, life sciences, and software.
Key responsibilities
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Promote the company as a premium provider and deliver bespoke support on product suitability.
- Generate leads through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach and other channels.
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to develop opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Occasional travel to meet clients face‑to‑face when required.
Required profile
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably with complex products or solutions.
- Background in professional services or software sales.
- Proven track record in new‑business acquisition.
- Experience selling to senior finance decision‑makers (e.g., Finance Directors, CFOs) is advantageous.

What we offer
- Basic salary circa £60,000 with OTE up to £90,000 (uncapped).
