Call Centre Agent – Smart Meter Appointment Scheduler

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Call Centre Agent to join Sureserve Energy Services Meters. In this role you will schedule smart‑meter installations and exchanges, ensuring engineers’ capacity is maximised while delivering a high‑quality customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Contact customers to arrange suitable dates and times for smart‑meter appointments.
- Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to meet KPI targets and service level agreements.
- Enter and update customer information accurately in the database.
- Resolve customer enquiries, log complaints and ensure timely escalation.
- Maintain compliance with Smart Meter Installation Code of Practice (SMICOP) and company policies.
- Respond to customer emails professionally and promptly.
- Participate in ongoing training, performance reviews and one‑to‑one meetings.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience entering or updating data in databases.
- Clear, articulate telephone manner.
- Strong work ethic, self‑motivation and a positive attitude.
- Ability to organise and manage own workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a team‑player mindset.
- Experience in the renewable‑energy sector is desirable.

What we offer
- Salary of £25,308 per annum.
- Discretionary bonus of up to £150 per month based on KPI achievement.
- Core shift: Monday‑Friday 8:30 AM‑4:30 PM or 9:00 AM‑5:00 PM.
