Casual Housekeeping Assistant

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at the Millennium Hotel Glasgow and help ensure every guest enjoys a clean, welcoming environment. This casual position offers a variety of duties across guest rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare hotel bedrooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and restocking guest supplies.
• Maintain public areas and toilet facilities to high standards of cleanliness.
• Assist with laundry duties as required.
• Carry out general hotel cleaning tasks to support overall operations.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Good communication skills and a pleasant, flexible attitude.
• High standards, attention to detail and a ‘can‑do’ mindset.
• Willingness to work flexibly on a rota, including weekends.
