Commercial Finance Controller – Consumer Health Care

About the role

The Commercial Finance Controller for the Consumer Health Care (CHC) business will drive financial performance and support strategic decision‑making across sales, marketing and operations. Reporting to the UK CFO and working closely with the CHC Director, you will lead key financial processes and provide insight‑driven recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the performance agenda by delivering insights and challenging Sales & Marketing stakeholders.
• Oversee monthly CHC business reporting, including P&L management, performance reviews and risk/opportunity identification.
• Participate actively in S&OP cycles and new product launch processes.
• Coordinate and present CHC financial planning to the CEO and CFO.
• Maintain balance‑sheet control for rebates, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Optimize ROI on advertising and promotional spend, with a focus on digital channels.
• Manage net revenue strategies covering pricing, trade terms, promotions, mix and price‑pack architecture.

Required profile

• CIMA or ACA qualification with solid post‑qualification experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Proven communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with SAP, Business Intelligence and AI tools is preferred.
• Effective time‑management, prioritisation and autonomy to drive initiatives.
• Strong presentation skills to bring financial stories to life.
