Construction Site Manager

About the role

We are a growing residential contractor delivering high‑quality refurbishment, extension and basement conversion projects across London. We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of up to two residential construction sites, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations on up to two residential sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site activities and material deliveries.
• Monitor work quality, identify issues early and maintain programme alignment.
• Prepare clear site reports and communicate progress to the Project Manager.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on site.
• Proactively spot delays, clashes or operational risks.
• Maintain strong communication with subcontractors, consultants and the project team.
• Support snagging, quality control and project handover processes.

Required profile

• 3–4 years’ experience in residential construction, including refurbishment and extensions.
• Strong communication, coordination and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain site organisation and produce clear reports.
• Attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving and a hands‑on approach.
• Good understanding of residential construction sequencing.
• Professional, reliable and able to work independently.
