Contact Advisor – British Army Recruitment Support

About the role

This full‑time permanent position (37.5 hours per week) is based onsite at our Upavon, Wiltshire office. You will support individuals who are interested in joining the British Army, providing clear information and guidance throughout the recruitment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from prospective Army candidates.
• Respond to enquiries via online web‑chat.
• Update and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
• Provide clear information about the recruitment process and next steps.
• Escalate issues or queries when appropriate.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.

Required profile

• Previous customer‑service experience, face‑to‑face or over the phone.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong listening skills with accurate information capture.
• Flexibility to work a shift pattern between 8:15 am and 7:00 pm.
• Patient, empathetic and professional approach.
