Customer Project Manager

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Customer Project Manager to lead automotive projects from initiation through delivery. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring projects meet quality, schedule, and budget targets while driving commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Achieve project KPIs such as on‑time delivery, specification compliance, quality, budget, profit, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor project execution, define countermeasures, and maintain accurate status reports for leadership.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams and coordinate hardware/software deliveries to meet customer milestones.
• Organise and lead customer and internal meetings, serving as the main point of contact for all stakeholders.
• Oversee product launches, risk management, quality management, and problem resolution.
• Coordinate change management, requirement management, estimation, and quotation processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal terms, and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, industrial engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven experience across all project phases (initiation, planning, execution, control, closing).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for customer interaction and cross‑functional teamwork.
• Strategic thinking, results orientation, and ability to work in a global environment.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.
• Sales or commercial experience in the automotive sector is desirable.
