About the role
DPD is seeking a Customer Service Advisor for a six‑month fixed‑term contract at its Lincoln depot. You will act as the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, handling enquiries related to parcel collection, delivery status and proof of delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Answer telephone and email queries about delivery status and provide Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Investigate missing parcels and resolve delivery disputes.
- Promote DPD products and services to existing and potential customers.
- Collaborate with drivers, shift managers and operations managers to identify and solve service issues.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a fast‑paced customer service environment.
- Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
- Polite, professional attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Excellent administration abilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Self‑motivated, initiative‑driven problem solver who embodies DPD’s values of passion, respect, honesty, flexibility, hard work and accountability.
