About the role
The Personal Dosimetry Services (PDS) team is looking for a Customer Services Administrator to support over 5,500 customers who rely on radiation dose monitoring. Working on a bank contract at Chilton Scientific Campus, you will help maintain high‑quality service and accurate invoicing for a national health‑security operation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide information to new and existing customers on ordering PDS services.
- Handle queries via post, email, fax and the online service, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Enter orders into the PDS programme, run continuity reports, and generate invoices and credit notes.
- Maintain and extract data from the bespoke PDS database, ensuring high levels of accuracy.
- Liaise with UKHSA Accounting Services to resolve invoice and payment queries.
- Support the Customer Services office in day‑to‑day operations and adhere to standard operating procedures.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of technical, scientific and legislative aspects of ionising radiation services.
- Extensive experience in customer‑facing roles, data handling and invoicing.
- Ability to interpret and resolve customer queries both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to detail and ability to work to regulatory deadlines.
Required skills
- Data entry and database management.
- Use of specialised PDS software for order processing and reporting.
- Invoicing and credit note preparation.
