Cyber Security Engineer – Relocate to Cayman Islands

About the role

Join a respected international financial services organisation as a Cyber Security Engineer based in George Town, Grand Cayman. You will be part of a global Security Operations team protecting critical systems, cloud infrastructure, and fund administration platforms while enjoying a tax‑free lifestyle on a beautiful Caribbean island.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events and perform detection engineering.
• Respond to incidents, conduct threat hunting and forensic analysis.
• Develop and maintain security automation scripts and playbooks.
• Collaborate across cloud, identity, application, and network security functions.
• Participate in a 24×7 on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive information security experience.
• Industry‑recognized certification (ISACA, ISC2, GIAC, or equivalent).
• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with detection engineering, incident response, KQL/Sigma, and security automation.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Windows security environments.
• Willingness to relocate to the Cayman Islands.
