DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared) – Contract

About the role

We are looking for a SC‑cleared DevOps Engineer to help deploy an Enterprise Detection and Response (EDR) solution across a large, regulated financial services cloud estate. The role will involve working with Kubernetes clusters, containerised workloads and Azure cloud services in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support deployment of EDR tooling across cloud servers, Kubernetes clusters and containerised environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Troubleshoot and optimise cloud infrastructure using monitoring and observability tools.
• Collaborate with security, platform and infrastructure teams to ensure secure‑by‑design deployments.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Proficiency with Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, load balancing, firewalls).
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerised workloads.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or Splunk.
• Background in DevOps or SRE roles within regulated environments.
• Active SC clearance.
