Director of Finance & Accounting (Hybrid, London)

About the role

The Director of Finance & Accounting will lead a high‑performing, international finance function for a fast‑paced financial services and advisory business. Reporting to senior leadership, you will combine strategic oversight with hands‑on execution across Europe, Asia and other global regions. The role offers exposure to acquisitions, integration projects and deal‑related accounting matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop an international finance team covering reporting, controls and operational finance.
• Oversee statutory and management reporting for multiple entities across jurisdictions.
• Manage external audit relationships and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Direct tax, treasury and operational finance activities.
• Support business projects, acquisitions and strategic initiatives.
• Drive improvements in systems, controls and reporting processes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to inform performance and decision‑making.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc commercial, operational and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in complex, international, project‑led finance environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑jurisdictional reporting and acquisition integration.
• Strong commercial judgement and pragmatic, hands‑on leadership style.
