Drainage Patching Team Leader

About the role

As a Drainage Patching Team Leader you will oversee the delivery of patching, lining and cutting solutions for leading water utilities across regulatory and non‑regulatory environments. You will manage a small crew, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute patching, lining and cutting works on site.
• Monitor health, safety, quality and environmental compliance for all activities.
• Maintain accurate site reporting and ensure incidents are logged promptly.
• Identify and resolve issues quickly to avoid escalation.
• Foster strong communication with clients, stakeholders and team members.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to operatives, developing their skills.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the utilities or drainage sector.
• Full clean driving licence.
• City & Guilds qualification in Patching.
• EUSR – Patching and Lining certification.
• Experience leading a patching team.
• NRSWA Streetworks Confined Space Level 2 (or higher).
