Event Manager

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based at Titanic Hotel Liverpool and the Rum Warehouse. The Event Manager will plan and execute a diverse portfolio of events, from conferences and exhibitions to weddings and corporate functions, ensuring each runs smoothly and meets guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of events across hotel and Rum Warehouse spaces.
• Coordinate closely with the Executive Chef, sales, catering, operations, and front‑office teams.
• Oversee event set‑up, breakdown, and on‑day quality monitoring.
• Maintain guest satisfaction and health‑and‑safety standards throughout each event.
• Report directly to the Conference & Events Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event management, conference and banqueting, or hospitality operations, preferably in a hotel or large venue.
• Strong client‑relationship and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills for handling multiple events.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence leading briefings and resolving issues.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• High attention to detail and a focus on guest experience and safety.
• Relevant qualification in hospitality, events management, tourism or related field is a plus.
