Café Assistant / Barista – Join ARNE Bites in Liverpool

About the role

ARNE Bites is expanding its flagship café in Liverpool ONE and is looking for a friendly, detail‑oriented Café Assistant/Barista. You will be the first point of contact for guests, preparing high‑quality coffee and food while delivering the brand’s understated yet elevated hospitality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily café operations to ensure smooth service and consistently high standards of food and beverage quality.
• Prepare espresso‑based drinks, teas, specialty beverages and food items following ARNE Bites’ barista standards.
• Maintain and update menu offerings by providing product feedback and liaising with suppliers when required.
• Deliver exceptional customer service: take orders accurately, answer queries, and resolve minor issues promptly.
• Build warm, friendly relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and enhance the café’s reputation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Café Assistant or Barista role is essential.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Passion for high‑quality food, beverages and service.
• Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification is a benefit, though full training will be provided if required.
