Finance Business Partner – 12‑month Fixed‑Term (Remote)

About the role

We are supporting a charitable organisation in their search for a Finance Business Partner on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is fully remote and will act as a trusted finance advisor to budget holders and senior stakeholders, helping to translate financial data into actionable insight.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and budgeting support.
• Partner with budget owners and senior leaders to interpret performance and guide decision‑making.
• Support month‑end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial information.
• Contribute to budgeting and re‑forecasting cycles and challenge assumptions where appropriate.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or similarly commercially focused finance role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Proactive, organised and able to manage priorities in a remote working environment.

Required skills

• Experience using Exchequer accounting software (advantageous).
