Senior Product Owner – Onboarding

About the role

Barclays is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of onboarding products for Business Banking. The role focuses on driving change across the end‑to‑end customer onboarding journey while ensuring regulatory compliance and a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve existing and new onboarding products, propositions and journeys.
• Lead a product team, manage the backlog and prioritise initiatives based on business value and customer outcomes.
• Develop product strategy, commercial models and launch plans, ensuring technical feasibility, legal compliance and risk mitigation.
• Monitor market trends, user feedback and key performance metrics to continuously improve product performance.

Required profile

• Strong experience in product ownership, product management or proposition development within a financial services environment.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders, translate business requirements into clear product priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading teams, managing competing demands and maintaining an effective flow of work.
• Understanding of KYC, KYB, AML and economic‑crime risk considerations.
