Fleet Operations Executive – 12‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are seeking an organised Fleet Operations Executive to support the efficient management of both business and private vehicle fleets for Santander Consumer Finance. The role is based in Milton Keynes (initially Newport Pagnell) on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming post, fines, email enquiries and manage V5 documentation.
• Handle parking permits, travel abroad documentation and invoice processing in line with UK regulations.
• Maintain accurate fleet records using internal systems and produce regular reports.
• Support customers and internal teams with fleet‑related queries, including road‑legal requirements, recalls and cherished plate transfers.
• Manage the defleet process, arrange vehicle collection and prepare end‑of‑contract billing.
• Attend court for statutory declarations or justice summons as required.
• Update client contacts, prepare invoices and assist third‑party suppliers with vehicle collection.

Required profile

• Customer service experience, preferably with collections.
• Strong negotiation skills and tenacity to achieve outcomes.
• Professional discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
• Ability to work to KPI targets and maintain high‑quality filing and archiving.
