Rail Operations & Accessibility Administrator

About the role

The Rail Operations & Accessibility Administrator will support the Rail Operations team in delivering route‑wide development and will administer the East West Rail Accessibility Advisory Panel (AAP). The role also provides project administration for rail operations projects and liaises with industry stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organise AAP and Built Environment Accessibility Panel (BEAP) meetings up to 12 months in advance.
• Ensure compliance with the Public Sector Equality Duty under the Equality Act 2010.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate and resolve risks, issues and dependencies, initiating corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain project trackers and prepare documentation for steering and working groups.
• Provide secretariat and administrative support for designated governance groups.
• Set up and manage the SharePoint repository for Railway Operations documentation.

Required profile

• Experience planning and coordinating meetings and events.
• Knowledge of the Public Sector Equality Duty and related compliance.
• Strong communication skills with both internal and external parties.
• Ability to manage project documentation and track issues.
• Familiarity with SharePoint or similar document management systems.
