About the role

Join the Mercante team at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane as a Food & Beverage Waitperson. You will deliver high‑quality service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience in a luxury hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and alcoholic beverages to guests, following service standards.
• Set tables according to event type and maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware.
• Answer menu questions, communicate dietary requirements and special requests to the kitchen.
• Record orders and transactions using the MICROS POS system.
• Check guest satisfaction throughout the service and address any issues promptly.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking, turning off lights, and presenting accurate checks for payment.
• Adhere to all safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability, non‑management position.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb unaided (heavier items with assistance).
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to assist guests with disabilities and follow quality standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS POS system.
