French or German speaking Travel Operations Executive

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual French or German speaking Travel Operations Executive to join a leading international tour operator and destination management company based in North London. The role involves delivering exceptional service to groups travelling across the UK and Ireland, coordinating all aspects of their journeys from quotation to execution.

Key responsibilities

• Organise group trips according to client specifications and prepare accurate quotations.
• Reserve accommodation, transport and ancillary services at competitive rates.
• Handle inbound communications, respond to enquiries promptly and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational delivery.
• Negotiate supplier rates to secure the best possible pricing.
• Attend familiarisation trips, trade fairs and meetings as required.

Required profile

• Fluent English and full professional proficiency in either French or German.
• Proven experience with tour operators or similar service providers.
• Strong knowledge of the UK as a tourism destination.
• Positive, solution‑oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office IT tools.
