French Speaking People Services Specialist (Fixed-Term)

About the role
The Global People Services Specialist provides high‑quality HR support to internal colleagues and external partners, ensuring a seamless employee experience across the organisation. This 9‑month fixed‑term position is based in Newcastle and works three days a week on‑site.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to employee queries via ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams and live‑chat, resolving issues or routing them to the appropriate team.
- Collaborate with payroll to verify data for monthly pay runs and liaise with external service providers as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date HR data across all systems.
- Support onboarding activities in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and processes to employees and managers.
- Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives with HRIS and improvement teams.
Required profile
- Solid grounding in HR with experience handling a wide range of employee queries.
- Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, adaptable style and ability to build trusted relationships.
- Fluency in French and English.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Experience using ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams.
- Knowledge of HRIS platforms and HR data management.
