Global Head of Manufacturing

About the role

Humanoid is seeking a visionary leader to define and drive its end‑to‑end manufacturing strategy, taking the company from low‑volume prototyping to scalable global production of advanced humanoid robots.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the manufacturing strategy from prototype to high‑volume production.
• Build and manage a high‑performance team covering production, quality, and operations.
• Plan and execute the first manufacturing facility, including site selection, layout, and equipment procurement.
• Develop capacity plans aligned with business goals, NPI timelines, and demand forecasts.
• Establish world‑class processes focused on automation, lean production, and precision assembly.
• Implement KPIs and process‑control systems to ensure operational excellence.
• Collaborate with R&D, hardware engineering, and product design to ensure manufacturability.
• Work with supply chain, procurement, and finance for sourcing, cost control, and production readiness.
• Oversee quality systems, regulatory compliance, and safety certifications (ISO, CE, UL).
• Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.

Required profile

• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership in hardware‑intensive industries (robotics, automotive, aerospace, advanced machinery).
• Proven success scaling production from prototype to high‑volume.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and capacity‑planning skills.
• Experience with greenfield facilities or scaling startup operations is a plus.
