Graduate Air Support Engineer

About the role

As a Graduate Air Support Engineer you will join BAE Systems’ Air Engineering team, contributing to Through Life Support activities for combat and trainer aircraft such as Typhoon, F‑35 and Tempest. You will perform detailed engineering analyses, produce support documentation and help shape maintainable designs throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct reliability, maintainability and FMECA analyses on air system designs and supplier data.
• Evaluate obsolescence risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Create and update technical documentation, maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Provide product support to customers, interpreting operational and maintenance requirements.
• Collaborate with designers, maintainers and suppliers to influence design for maintainability.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with an engineering degree (aerospace, mechanical, electrical or related).
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to safety and environmental factors.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to work on‑site 3‑5 days per week in Brough (Hull).
