Graduate Engineer – Electrical or Mechanical

About the role

Avantis Group is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team delivering marine, offshore and energy projects. You will work under senior engineers, gaining hands‑on experience in design, analysis and commissioning while supporting client and supplier interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with design, analysis and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Support project documentation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Participate in condition assessments, failure investigations and technical reporting.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and innovation within projects.
• Engage with clients and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (or about to graduate) with a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, preferably at Master’s level.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn in a fast‑paced technical environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally for short assignments.

Required skills

• Fundamental knowledge of electrical system design.
• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical system design.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and reports.
