Groundworker – District Heating Projects (North London)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing district‑heating contractor based in London, delivering high‑spec utility schemes across the UK. We are recruiting experienced groundworkers for a new utilities and district‑heating project in North London, scheduled to start in June 2026. This role offers the chance to work on green infrastructure and develop your construction career.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, excavate and maintain ground works in line with project specifications.
• Install, monitor and protect temporary works, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Support civil‑engineering activities related to district‑heating pipe installation.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to achieve project milestones.
• Maintain site cleanliness and adhere to health‑and‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a groundworker on construction sites.
• Strong background in temporary works, preferably with EUSR Category 1 and Category 2 experience.
• Ability to read basic site drawings and follow instructions.
• Willingness to work onsite in North London for the duration of the project.
