Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, PE‑backed SaaS business to find a Group Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own group reporting, financial control and consolidation across multiple international entities, supporting both organic growth and acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group consolidation and monthly financial reporting for all entities.
• Produce high‑quality board and investor reporting packs.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and re‑forecasting cycles.
• Review and challenge entity‑level financial submissions.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity of financial data across the group.
• Drive improvements in financial controls, reporting processes and systems.
• Partner with the CEO to provide clear financial insight and decision support.
• Support integration of acquired businesses.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with 6+ years of experience.
• Strong background in group reporting, financial control or FP&A.
• Experience in PE‑backed, SaaS or multi‑entity environments.
• Big 4 training preferred.
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented and comfortable in fast‑paced settings.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
