Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are partnering with a high‑growth, private‑equity‑backed international business that operates a recurring‑revenue, asset‑backed model with SaaS‑like characteristics. The Group Financial Controller will own the end‑to‑end group reporting and consolidation function across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with the CFO to deliver investor‑grade financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidations for entities in different currencies.
• Produce high‑quality management and statutory reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage multi‑currency consolidations, inter‑company eliminations and US GAAP reporting requirements.
• Oversee group audit processes and resolve technical accounting matters.
• Maintain balance‑sheet control, group reconciliations and shared‑service centres across Europe.
• Mentor UK and US Financial Controllers and support acquisition integrations.

Required profile

• ACA qualification (or equivalent) with strong technical accounting expertise.
• Extensive experience in private‑equity‑backed, multi‑entity, multi‑currency environments.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and international reporting standards.
• Background in recurring‑revenue, SaaS‑style, leasing or asset‑backed business models.

Required skills

• SAP (experience beneficial)
