Group Financial Controller – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking a high‑calibre Group Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing technology group based in Manchester. The role will support the next stage of the company’s evolution, partnering with senior leadership and key stakeholders across a complex multi‑entity structure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group consolidations across multiple statutory entities and produce accurate financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial and stakeholder reports.
• Manage treasury activities, cash‑flow forecasting and lender relationships, including senior and junior debt structures.
• Drive FP&A, commercial analysis and budgeting processes.
• Oversee tax compliance, governance and reporting.
• Identify and implement systems, process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.
• Build, develop and lead high‑performing finance teams.
• Raise standards, controls and operational excellence across the finance function.

Required profile

• ACA qualified (ICAEW or ICAS) finance professional.
• Strong technical finance expertise combined with commercial acumen.
• Experience working in acquisitive, leveraged and complex group structures.
• Proven ability to operate in a high‑growth, fast‑paced environment.
