Hospitality Host/Hostess (Part‑time)

About the role

As a Hospitality Host at a Barchester care home you will help create a warm, welcoming environment for residents, supporting a range of events and first‑class hospitality in the dining and bar areas. This part‑time role offers the chance to make a real difference to the daily lives of older adults.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging service to residents and their families in the dining room and bar.
• Assist with the set‑up and delivery of social events and activities.
• Serve food and beverages, including alcohol where appropriate, following care home standards.
• Maintain a clean and inviting hospitality area.

Required profile

• No specific qualifications required; experience in a similar hospitality setting is desirable.
• Personable, caring and genuinely interested in residents.
• Over 18 years of age.
• Available for 17.5 hours per week across three days, including occasional weekends.
