Housekeeper for Ultra‑High Net‑Worth Family in London

About the role

A London‑based ultra‑high‑net‑worth family is seeking an experienced housekeeper to maintain a 1,200 m² residence across four floors, including a spa, pool, sauna, hammam and gym. The role requires a discreet “silent service” approach and meticulous attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout reception rooms, spa facilities, gym, five bedrooms, studies and family areas, following daily and weekly cleaning cycles.
• Perform deep cleaning during family absences, including steam disinfection, linen inventory, organization and labeling.
• Monitor and adjust climate, air quality and lighting; maintain humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air purifiers and extraction systems.
• Manage full laundry cycle for delicate and high‑value garments, track dry‑clean items and ensure timely returns.
• Provide evening turndown service between 17:00‑20:00, preparing bedrooms and bathrooms to exacting standards.
• Coordinate with the house manager, chef, gardener and technicians, using checklists, logs and incident reporting.
• Receive, record and dispatch parcels and courier shipments, maintaining accurate inventory of supplies and consumables.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in private UHNW households with a proven “silent service” approach.
• Strong professional housekeeping skills and knowledge of premium material care (stone, wood, metal, leather).
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Clear, concise communication in basic English for safety and coordination.
• Excellent time‑management, discretion and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of humidifiers, dehumidifiers and air purifiers.
• Use of cleaning systems and basic apps/timers for household equipment.
• Sensor monitoring (temperature, humidity, PM/CO₂) and thermostat/air‑conditioning adjustments.
• Laundry expertise for delicate fabrics and high‑value wardrobe items.
• Care for premium materials such as stone, solid wood, metals and leather.
