Housekeeping Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Cottenham Court Care Home. In this role you will help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents, supporting Bupa’s commitment to person‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the care home, including communal areas and resident bedrooms.
• Vacuum, mop, sweep and polish floors, and ensure all surfaces are tidy.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and report any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Work closely with other housekeeping and maintenance staff to address resident needs promptly.
• Assist with occasional deep‑cleaning tasks and ensure health‑and‑safety procedures are followed.

• Ability to manage multiple requests and multitask effectively.
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with other teams.
