In-House Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

Anthesis is seeking an In-House Corporate Tax Manager to join its finance team in Central Bristol. This is an excellent first in‑house move for a tax professional who wants to broaden experience across corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing and cross‑border matters within a fast‑growing, purpose‑driven organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Support group tax reporting and oversee global compliance.
• Act as the primary contact for corporate tax, VAT and cross‑border queries.
• Assist with transfer pricing processes and documentation.
• Partner with commercial teams to provide practical, real‑time tax guidance.
• Help improve tax processes, controls and consistency across jurisdictions.
• Liaise with external advisors and internal stakeholders across multiple international territories.

Required profile

• ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent).
• Training experience within a Big 4 or Top 10 firm.
• Strong grounding in corporate tax, preferably with some international exposure.
• Motivation to broaden experience across multiple tax disciplines and transition to an in‑house commercial setting.
• Collaborative, proactive and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving business.
