Junior Designer

About the role

Archetype UK is looking for an ambitious Junior Designer to support B2B technology clients. The role combines solid design fundamentals with a genuine enthusiasm for using AI tools in everyday creative work.

Key responsibilities

• Produce design assets for campaigns, social media, paid media, presentations, reports, landing pages, email, events and other digital marketing activities.
• Interpret briefs from account, strategy and creative teams and translate complex B2B technology messages into clear visual outputs.
• Apply brand guidelines and incorporate feedback to deliver polished work for senior B2B audiences.
• Support internal design needs such as marketing materials, credentials, proposals, templates and internal communications.
• Collaborate closely with designers, strategists and account teams, asking questions to understand strategic and commercial context.
• Explore and experiment with AI‑enhanced tools (Figma AI, ChatGPT, Codex, creative plugins) to improve speed, quality and creativity.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio demonstrating good design fundamentals, layout, typography and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Clear interest in B2B technology, digital marketing or agency environments.
• Enthusiasm for AI and emerging creative tools, with a willingness to use them daily.
• Ability to design for digital channels including social, paid media, presentations and web‑based assets.
• Strong visual judgement, good communication skills and ability to collaborate with non‑design teams.
• Organised, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, open to feedback and eager to learn.
