Learning Management Lead – National Health Research Network

About the role

The Learning Management Lead will shape learning at a UK‑wide scale for the Research Delivery Network Coordinating Centre (RDNCC) and the NIHR. You will lead a learning and development team, deploy a national Learning Management System and drive service excellence across health and care research.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a UK‑wide LMS and learning strategy.
• Lead and develop the learning and development team, ensuring high‑quality learning design and management.
• Collaborate with RDN, the University of Leeds and external stakeholders to embed a unified learning approach.
• Support organisational change to align the network under a shared purpose and vision.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, budgeting and performance of the learning function.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a learning and development team.
• Successful deployment of a Learning Management System at scale.
• Strong leadership and inspirational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across academic and research organisations.
• Commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.
