Lecturer in Operations, Supply Chain and Technology Management

About the role

The University of Leeds invites an academic to join the Analytics, Technology and Operations Department as a Lecturer. You will contribute to world‑leading research and deliver high‑quality teaching in Operations, Supply Chain and Technology Management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and publish research within the ATOD department and its research centres (e.g., TOSCA).
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules such as Managing Operations, Global Supply Chain Management, and Advanced Intelligent Technologies.
• Participate in academic leadership, curriculum development, and departmental management.
• Supervise student projects and contribute to the MSc Global Supply Chain Management and BSc Business and Intelligent Technologies programmes.

Required profile

• Established academic with a strong record of research and teaching in Operations, Supply Chain or Technology Management.
• Demonstrated ability to develop short‑ and medium‑term research plans and to produce scholarly outputs.
• Willingness to engage with research centres and interdisciplinary communities within the Business School.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Digital Twinning, Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in business.
