Lecturer – Beauty (Full‑time, Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Lecturer in Beauty to join the Hair and Beauty department at Bedford Campus. You will deliver Level 1‑3 Beauty Therapy programmes, support student progress and contribute to curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess Beauty Therapy courses, including Massage and Nail Technology.
• Guide learners through tutorials, monitor their progress and provide feedback.
• Develop schemes of work, create learning materials and support enrichment activities.
• Complete administrative reports, maintain records and participate in marketing events.
• Uphold safeguarding, equality, health & safety standards and engage in continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Qualified in Beauty Therapy with GCSE English and Maths.
• Recent industry experience in beauty therapy and strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• High numeracy, ability to handle confidential data and work under pressure.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality and health & safety policies; flexible to travel and adapt hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
