Business Lecturer (Full‑time, Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Business Lecturer to join the Business department of Tresham College, delivering high‑quality teaching across BTEC Levels 2‑3 and T‑Level programmes. You will play a pivotal role in supporting learner achievement and progression on our Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned teaching for Business programmes (BTEC, T‑Level, NCFE, City & Guilds).
• Plan, develop and continuously improve schemes of work and learning resources.
• Assess learner work, verify achievement, maintain accurate records and contribute to internal verification.
• Provide academic tutoring, pastoral support and communicate with parents/carers.
• Enhance learning through employer links, trips and enrichment activities.
• Undertake administrative duties, contribute to curriculum development and marketing.
• Uphold safeguarding, equality, diversity, health & safety and college standards.

Required profile

• Degree in a Business‑related subject.
• PGCE/Cert Ed (or willingness to achieve).
• GCSE English and Maths.
• Proven experience teaching and assessing in further education across BTEC, T‑Level, NCFE or City & Guilds programmes.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality and college values.
