About the role
This newly created position is for an experienced administrative professional to lead the document services, secretarial and administrative support teams within a modern, collaborative UK law firm. The role offers high visibility, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the firm’s operational backbone runs smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of document services, secretarial and administrative support functions.
- Drive consistency, efficiency and quality across all support services.
- Lead, develop and motivate small teams of secretaries, document specialists and administrators.
- Collaborate with senior lawyers and business services to align support functions with firm objectives.
- Contribute to the firm’s ongoing modernisation and operational efficiency initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a law‑firm support or operational environment.
- Strong organisational and practical skills with the ability to manage multiple teams.
- Confident communicator comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and drive service quality.
