Light to Heavy Vehicle Technician – Teesside

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Light to Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team in Teesside. You will work with both light commercial vehicles and heavy trucks, gaining industry‑leading training, competitive rates and the chance to develop a career within the Volvo network.

Key responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicles and heavy trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT and DVSA compliance.
• Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Record all work accurately using digital workshop systems.
• Collaborate with service and parts teams to maintain workshop efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience working on light commercial vehicles and/or HGVs.
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or SVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.

• Vehicle diagnostics using specialist equipment.
