Zero Hours RRV Operator – Nottingham

About the role

Readypower Rail Services is seeking motivated and experienced RRV Operators to join its growing rail plant hire team. This zero‑hours position is based in Nottingham and supports operations across the North, North East and North West of England.

Key responsibilities

• Operate OTP/Mobile Plant safely in line with current rules and standards.
• Use only plant for which you hold competence and authorisation, under supervision where required.
• Communicate effectively using safety devices to enhance site safety.
• Represent Readypower positively to improve the customer experience.

Required profile

• Valid, in‑date Personal Track Safety (PTS) – AC and DCCR.
• Valid OTP Core competency and OTP Machine Operator – Excavator and OTP Crane Operator – Excavator Crane competencies.
• CPCS or an equivalent nationally recognised competence.
• Good knowledge and experience of railway environments.
• Passionate, hard‑working, driven and the right to work in the UK.
