Localization QA Language Specialist – Spanish (LATAM)

About the role

As a Localization QA Language Specialist you will ensure the linguistic quality of SEGA titles for Spanish (LATAM) markets. Working closely with LQA Project Managers and external vendors, you will review translations, code and in‑game assets to guarantee that releases meet both company standards and player expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform translation reviews before game implementation and during testing.
• Provide consistent feedback to LQA Project Managers and vendors to maintain a uniform testing process.
• Review code readiness for testing and sign‑off builds before submission.
• Check defects and edits for format, grammar, and naming conventions, escalating quality concerns as needed.
• Conduct confidence checks by playing builds and verifying terminology.
• Create and maintain localisation CQA checklists for internal and external use.
• Support urgent translation requests, actor casting feedback, and high‑risk compliance translations.

Required profile

• Fluent in Spanish (LATAM) and English with strong written communication skills.
• Experience in localisation quality assurance within the video‑game industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Required skills
