Logistics Planner – Plymouth

About the role

Holcim is seeking a proactive Logistics Planner to join its Plymouth team. You will be responsible for organising the efficient delivery of aggregates and asphalt across Plymouth and the wider South West, ensuring high fleet utilisation and on‑time performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan a high volume of same‑day and future deliveries, optimising fleet utilisation.
• Contact clients to confirm delivery dates and times, managing expectations and providing excellent service.
• Liaise with internal production, sales and site teams to anticipate bottlenecks and communicate changes.
• Deploy resources strategically to maximise haulage efficiency for both internal and external customers.

• Strong logistical mindset with the ability to adapt to real‑time changes.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
