Managing Consultant – Education

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Education Recruiter to lead a high‑potential temporary desk in Manchester City Centre. This senior, hands‑on position combines revenue generation with strategic influence, allowing you to shape branch growth while continuing to bill.

Key responsibilities

• Own and expand a 360 temporary recruitment desk covering SEND, Primary and Secondary education.
• Mentor, motivate and develop junior consultants within the education division.
• Drive personal and team performance against targets.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with schools and education providers.
• Collaborate with leadership on growth strategy, market opportunities and best‑practice sharing.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and recruitment standards.

Required profile

• Proven track record in education recruitment, preferably across SEND, Primary or Secondary sectors.
• Strong 360 temporary recruitment experience with measurable billing results.
• Leadership qualities with a passion for coaching and developing others.
• Commercial mindset and ability to contribute to branch performance.
