ESOL Teacher – Adult Education (Manchester)

About the role
The Manchester Adult Education Service is seeking a qualified ESOL Teacher to deliver high‑quality English language programmes for adult learners across Manchester. You will plan, teach and assess a range of ESOL courses, helping learners build confidence and achieve recognised qualifications.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver ESOL lessons (pre‑entry to Level 1) in adult learning centres and community settings.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare engaging teaching materials and resources.
- Support learners in developing everyday English skills.
- Encourage learners to exceed their personal learning goals.
Required profile
- Previous teaching experience, preferably with adult learners.
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, TEFL, CELTA).
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
- Willingness to undergo DBS checks.
