Manufacturing & Inspection Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Manufacturing & Inspection Auditor to join our Quality team on‑site at Leamington Spa. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will ensure that all manufacturing technicians and inspectors consistently meet the required inspection standards, supporting a culture of operational excellence and product integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Audit the inspection capabilities of approximately 20 technicians, including weekly reviews of new starters.
• Maintain and continuously improve an objective audit process and capability matrix.
• Produce weekly reports summarising audit activity and recommend audit frequencies based on results.
• Adjust the audit plan as needed to respond to findings or operational priorities.

Required profile

• Experienced senior component inspector from a low‑volume precision engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of batch machining processes and GD&T.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration and accountability.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and ensure correct use of measurement equipment.
