Mobile Powered Access Service Engineer (Home Based)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Powered Access Engineer to join a company that values its staff. The position is home‑based but involves travelling door‑to‑door to service clients across the West Midlands and beyond. You will be paid from the moment you start your journey until you return home.

Key responsibilities

• Fault‑find, repair and maintain a range of powered access machinery for hire companies and manufacturers.
• Service equipment such as van‑mounted platforms, boom lifts, scissor lifts and pallet trucks.
• Travel to client sites, performing door‑to‑door service and logging overtime accurately.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an engineer within the powered access sector.
• Valid IPAF licence (mandatory) and preferably CAP certification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms).
• Familiarity with powered access equipment and its maintenance procedures.
